Hospitality is one of the largest industries in the world. And as customers, people expect one major thing from the hotels before all. And that is cleanliness. With the Corona Virus pandemic running rampant, hotels should be taking cleanliness as their one major concern as their customers’ lives depend on it.
To find out whether the high end hotels do the right thing after re opening, the crew of the TV show ‘Inside Edition’ checked in and sprayed washable logos that can only be seen under UV light, on the things that customers expect to be changed everyday: pillowcases, towels and bed sheets. The team also sprayed logos on commonly touched surfaces like remote consoles, tables and thermostats with washable gel. Remember, these are not your average hotels but some of New York’s biggest names in the industry.
And when they checked in the next day using a different name, they found some of the logos exactly as they left it. This is bad in the best of times but during a pandemic this kind of irresponsible behavior becomes downright life threatening.

The sad thing about this is customers pay a lot of money to stay in these high end hotels and it looks like they don’t even get the basic value for the price.
