The protests demanding justice for George Floyd are reaching the extremes. While hundreds of women, men, and children have taken to the streets irrespective of their color, age or religion, this man, probably in his 50s or 60s, snatches some BLM related flyers off a little girl’s hands, showing his contradiction.
A few adolescents were hanging signs along the Capital Crescent Trail in Bethesda, Maryland saying “A man was lynched by the police. What are you doing about it? Use your privilege for good” and “Killer cops will not go free.” While they were hanging the flyers minding their own business, a bicyclist that passed by stopped, charged towards one of the children holding a roll of tape.
Another teen at the scene shouted at the man, “Do not touch her! She has nothing! Get off of her!”

When the man saw he was being filmed, he grabbed his bicycle and darted towards the teen that was filming, attempting to crash onto him. He told NBC that he was putting signs to inspire people to ‘make a big difference in terms of both monetary donations and resources to fight against injustice’.
This is how he explained what happened on Reddit; “He cycled past us as we were putting up signs, stopped, asked to see my signs (in a friendly tone, I thought he was just interested) then as soon as I showed him, he ripped them out of my hands and started to go after my friends, which is when I started recording. I don’t think he’s grabbing the water bottle, he took the tape off of the wrist of my friend.”
The police asked for the general public help to find the cyclist. The suspect was described as a white male, 50-60 years old, medium build, six feet in height, with short brown hair, and he was wearing a gray t-shirt, black shorts, a red helmet, and aviator-style glasses.
