This orangutan named Sandra is now 34 years old and born in Germany. Most of her time has spent alone in Buenos Aires as no orangutan kept company with her.

Later, Sandra was given legal personhood by a judge in Argentina. This is in focusing on better living conditions of her. So in November 2019, she was taken to the Center for Great Apes, where she’s been living a good life with other orangutans. And in January, Sandra has taken high celebrations of her 34th birthday enjoying the highest with a lot of love around.
